A description of a place

I'm going to talk about my favorite place. My favorite place is my grandmother's house that is in the village of Llinars. I like it because it is a quiet place and it's next to the forest.
Llinars is a small village; there are supermarkets, parks and stores. Outside the village there are houses where the people have animals for exemple: cows, horses, rabbits, chickens.... What I like about Llinars is the forests because it is very big and I like walking and seeing the different animals in the forests an I also like the silence.
I like more the village than the city because there are more silence and it is very quiet.

Dear Miriam.

I'm having a fantastic time at the moment because I'm in Vancover,USA. At this time in Vancover they celebratien Halloween. Before the celebration, I put up decoration in tha house. Later, we choose horror films and music. My mum do the food, for exemple: pie, biscuit, pizza... In the afternoon my friends arrive. At night it is great because my friends and I tell a story and watch horror films on TV and go out the streets disguised as vampire, witches...

Why don't you visit us next time? You'd love it!!
